Meet the Freshman Admissions Staff
Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Admissions
I’ve been part of the SU Admissions team for over 10 years now and discover new reasons to be a Mustang all the time. Of the many awesome SU experiences I’ve had, my favorite is a tie between being on stage during the fall 2010 Convocation when our marching band was first introduced to the SU community and being in the stands in Philadelphia when Men’s Lacrosse won the 2013 NCAA D-III National Championship.

Director of Campus Visits
Starting as a teacher and coach at Stevenson in 1988, I’ve seen lots of history made here. I enjoy staying in touch with many of our graduates and they’ve inspired me to pursue a second bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies here at SU! Being a current student gives me a whole new perspective on campus. As the parent of a recent college graduate, I understand the importance of visiting campus to find the right fit and hope you’ll visit here soon. I’m also a proud Western MD resident and would love to meet you when I’m on the road.

Every day, I am energized by the exciting growth and progress of Stevenson. I love helping students envision SU as their new college home for the next four years. My favorite Stevenson memory was attending SU Football’s first home game in program history at the brand new Mustang Stadium in September 2011. Topping off our historic victory in double-overtime was the overwhelming sense of community and Mustang pride that filled every corner of SU.

As a 2012 graduate of Stevenson, I am proud of the growth and progress that Stevenson has made since my time here as a student. What I absolutely loved most about SU was the accessibility of the faculty and the close professional relationships I was able to create with my professors. Even several years after graduation, my professors still remember who I am and are still willing to offer assistance. Now as a member of the admissions team, I’m excited to be a source of support and guidance for students as they navigate through the admissions and college experience. I welcome any and all questions about my undergraduate experience and/or the countless opportunities that Stevenson has to offer its students. Outside of my job at SU, I can be found doing exciting things like crocheting a scarf, blanket, or even slippers! Aside from crocheting, I also enjoy kayaking, staying active, and occasionally training for a half marathon.
