The grey skies have cleared and the sun is thawing everyone out. There are pink and yellow flowers popping up all over campus to say that spring is here and May 1 is right around the corner!
In the Admissions Office, we are counting down the days until May 1. May 1 is the National Candidate’s Reply Date, the date all colleges and universities in the country use as a deadline for accepted students to confirm whether or not they plan to attend in the fall.
We’ve already hosted a number of events for students accepted to the Class of 2021, including our largest event, Accepted Students’ Day. During the remainder of the month we’ll continue to host campus visits Monday through Saturday and we encourage you to get in touch with your admissions counselor if you have any questions or want to arrange an in-person meeting.
We have kicked off what we call our #LetUsKnow campaign, encouraging all our accepted students to let us know once you’ve made your college decision. We’d love to hear from you either way. While we’re excited to meet our new Mustangs and know lots of you will be part of #SU2021, we also know that some of you will find your best fit school elsewhere. If that’s the case, don’t be shy about telling us. It allows us to withdraw your application and we’ll stop sending you Stevenson information.
Ready to be a Mustang? To confirm your enrollment, reserve a space in housing and submit your $300 enrollment deposit (which will be deducted from your fall tuition bill), head to stevenson.edu/letusknow and complete the appropriate online forms. You can also mail the Enrollment Intent Form and Housing Reservation Form that were in the folder with your letter of acceptance along with a check or our credit card form. Once you've told us yes, please get in touch with the other schools who admitted you to let them know you've committed to Stevenson - each school probably has a form or portal online where you can do this or you can call or e-mail each school's Admissions Office.
Going Elsewhere? Take a minute to fill out our Accepted Student Withdrawal Form at stevenson.edu/letusknow to officially withdraw your application.
Win a $100 Gift Card! On Monday, March 6 we began sending out an e-mail to all our accepted students with a link to complete a survey for us about your experience during the admissions process at Stevenson. Good, bad, or ugly, we want your thoughts! The survey is open for eight weeks from March 6 – May 1. Each week we’ll choose two people who have completed the survey to win a $100 gift card to your choice of Amazon or the Stevenson University Bookstore. The earlier you complete the survey, the more weeks you’ll be entered in the drawing!
