We started mailing our first admit packets in early October and have stayed busy reviewing students for admission to the Class of 2022. (If you are still applying, that’s ok. The final scholarship consideration deadline is February 1). As students begin to receive their decisions, they start to think about where they would like to attend college. Deciding where to enroll may seem overwhelming. You will probably want to visit schools in the spring to help guide your decision. Whether you are visiting Stevenson for the first or fifth time, we offer visit opportunities for almost every interest and schedule!
Overnight Visits allow students to immerse themselves in the SU culture and learn what it’s like to be a student here. During the visit, students will spend a night in a freshman residence hall, attend class, have dinner in the Rockland Marketplace, and much more. The Overnight Visit Dates are Sunday, February 11 – Monday, February 12, Sunday, March 4 – Monday, March 5, and Sunday, April 8 – Monday, April 9. Find more information or request an Overnight Visit date at stevenson.edu/overnight-form.
Students are able to attend a class and enjoy a meal with a current student during a Class Visit. Class visits are available Monday through Thursday, beginning February 5 through April 26. Interested students should send their name, anticipated major or academic interests, and preferred date of visits to Paul-Anne Robb, Admissions Counselor, at firstname.lastname@example.org with at least one week notice.
During an Open House, students spend the day exploring the campuses and talking with current students and faculty. The next Open House on Saturday, March 3 will also include a special Next Steps Session for admitted students. Register online or call 1-877-468-6852.
Save the date for Accepted Students’ Day on Saturday, April 7. This is the annual campus-wide event celebrating the incoming class. All admitted students will receive a formal invitation.
Next Step Meetings are offered Monday through Friday based on counselor availability. This is an opportunity for families to personally meet with their admissions counselor to discuss what comes next in the enrollment process. Financial Aid staff members are also available for individual appointments. Call 1-877-468-6852 to make your appointment.
Not sure what visit is best for you? We host a variety of events on a variety of dates to try to give you lots of options because you're all different and have different interests and needs. You should read over the options, think about your schedule, and decide what's best for you as you make your college decision. If you are curious about a specific event, don’t hesitate to contact your admissions counselor with questions. We don’t expect you to attend every event, but we do hope to see you on campus this spring!
