We started mailing our first admit packets in early October and have stayed busy reviewing students for admission to the Class of 2022. (If you are still applying, that’s ok. The final scholarship consideration deadline is February 1). As students begin to receive their decisions, they start to think about where they would like to attend college. Deciding where to enroll may seem overwhelming. You will probably want to visit schools in the spring to help guide your decision. Whether you are visiting Stevenson for the first or fifth time, we offer visit opportunities for almost every interest and schedule!

Overnight Visits allow students to immerse themselves in the SU culture and learn what it’s like to be a student here. During the visit, students will spend a night in a freshman residence hall, attend class, have dinner in the Rockland Marketplace, and much more. The Overnight Visit Dates are Sunday, February 11 – Monday, February 12, Sunday, March 4 – Monday, March 5, and Sunday, April 8 – Monday, April 9. Find more information or request an Overnight Visit date at stevenson.edu/overnight-form....

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, commonly referred to as FAFSA, is the federal form that Stevenson uses to determine eligibility for need-based Federal grants, student loans, work-study, many State of Maryland scholarships and grants, and the Stevenson need-based grant.

The 2018-2019 FAFSA is available online now and students and families will be able to use 2016 income and tax data to complete the form. To officially sign and submit the FAFSA online, students and parents (if you are a dependent student) must have a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID). If you don't already have a FSA ID, apply for one now online. To ensure Stevenson receives your FAFSA you must include our federal school code, 002107.

Stevenson’s priority deadline to submit the FAFSA is February 15. If you have any questions about financial aid you can contact the Financial Aid Office by calling 443-334-3200 or emailing financial-aid@stevenson.edu.

One of the best parts of working in Admissions is getting to meet our prospective students. Throughout the fall our staff members (we call them counselors or admissions representatives), travel the country to visit with students at high schools and community colleges and attend college fairs. From now through Thanksgiving, Stevenson admissions counselors will visit over 500 high schools and attend about 300 college fairs, mostly on the east coast.
