Last Thursday, September 24th, students represented Stevenson University at the 4th Annual Project Homeless Connect, sponsored by the United Way. Students from PSY 350—Health Psychology, PsychClub, and Student Activities teamed up to serve as volunteers for the event, which was held in Downtown Baltimore at the Convention Center.

Each student and faculty member were paired up with an individual experiencing homelessness and helped to guide them to each service offered at the event. Project Homeless Connect provided these individuals many services that they normally do not have easy access to because of their situation. Some of the services offered included: identification, housing, legal information, job training, beauty and wellness care, and vision, dental, and other health screenings.
