The Human Services Club volunteers at the Color Run at Camden Yards on Saturday, Nov. 15. The Color Run supports the Cool Kids Learning Center, which sponsors academic, social, and emotional programs for kids with cancer. The club had a blast at this colorful event. In attendance were: Emily Mills, Jessica Mahla, Brittney Sommerfeld, Aliki Argiropoulos, Ayanna Crawley, Jonathan Hart, Amanda Erickson, Yasmine Byrd, Avery Kershaw, Emily Miccariello, and Professor Lauri Weiner.

The Human Services Club sent 6 members to Our Daily Bread in Baltimore to help prepare and serve food at the Christopher Place dinner service on October 10, 2014. The men who attend this dinner are currently receiving education, training, and support because they were previously homeless in the Baltimore area. The club members who attended were Aliki Argiropoulos, Natalie Bohlen, Michelle Cohen, Margaret Zimmermann, Amanda Erikson, and Megan Kotrla.

On September 27, 2014, the Human Services Club participated in the Walk for Lupus at Patternson Park in Baltimore. It was a beautiful day to get some exercise in support of an excellent cause!
