Welcome back! Stay tuned for exciting information about what the Department of Film & Moving Image has planned for this year. In the meantime, check out the photos, above, from the set of Assistant Professor Chris Ernst’s feature film. Class of 2017 graduates Rachel Pollock (Production Manager), Kara Stone (Key Grip/Gaffer), Gabby Sturgeon (Assistant Art Director) and Daniel Whitehead (Assistant Producer) – the only one not pictured – worked on Professor Ernst’s film, produced by his independent studio, Bright Rectangle Films. The movie is an original adaptation of Fritz Lieber’s short story “The Hill and the Hole,” a quirky supernatural thriller set in the high desert of the Southwest. Principal photography took place on location in Colorado and New Mexico this July and August. The film will be completed Summer of 2018.
