Film and Moving Image News

Keyword: morgan taylor

Last night at the Creative Alliance in downtown Baltimore, as part of the annual "Best of Baltimore" showcase, three members of the Film & Moving Image class of 2017 – Chris Hessler, Rachel Pollock and Morgan Taylor – screened their senior-thesis projects, along with the work of students from other Baltimore-area institutions. Below is a photo of all who came out, including the directors and their faculty supervisor, Chris Ernst.

Last Friday (Nov. 11), Stevenson's NBS-FMI (National Broadcast Society/Film & Moving Image) Club presented a screening of the films made during its first ever 72-Hour Film Festival (sponsored by DeWolfe Music). The winners, chosen by a panel of three external judges (all alums of our program: Tavon Mayne, Katie Shelton and Sam Tressler), were Kookaloris (No. 1) and H2OhNo! (No. 2, and also the recipient of the Audience Award). Pictured above, from left to right, are Morgan Taylor (part of the team that made Kookaloris) and Kara Stone and Max Iacovelli (part of the team that made H2OhNo!).
