The first annual FMIs Film Festival will take place this weekend, on Saturday, April 21, at 6pm in the Rockland Banquet Hall on the Owings Mills Campus. Sponsored by the NBS-FMI Club, the event will feature over 20 student films, with awards given out at the end of the night, chosen by a panel of outside judges. Come one, come all!

Last night's STEVIE U 72 – our second annual 72-Hour Film Festival, sponsored by Canon – was a resounding success. And the winners are:

  • 1st Place + Audience-Award Winner: Storytime, by Adrienne Civetti, Jessie Dubyoski and Brooks Gray
  • 2nd Place: Vengeance, by Kevin Pullias, Mariam Salahvarzi and Lauren Scott
  • 3rd Place: Home Early, by Josh Herrera, Alex Korty and Adam Vaughn
  • iPhone Winner: Dare to Travel, by Diana Williams

The judges for the event were: President of Stevenson University Dr. Elliot Hirshman, Vice President for Student Affairs (and former President) Claire Moore, and Stevenson alumnus and filmmaker Adam Oberfeld.

  • Robert Morison = PR

Congratulations to all the winners, and a big thank you to all who participated. See you next year!
