Life as a Key Holder at the store Crocs can be very easy and very difficult at the same time. Some people think that your only job responsibility is opening and closing the store, but it is so much more work than that. As a Key Holder, you’re considered a part of your store “team lead”, and you can become the Manager On Duty (MOD).

There are a variety of responsibilities such as counting the cash registers and checking the store goals throughout the day. I make sure that stock was priced, sized, and put out. I am in charge of visuals, and the way the store is displayed. On top of everything, your number #1 goal in the store is customers first and to sell as much merchandise as possible.

The best part about my job is that I love the people that I work with. We all get along and have fun working with each other. At our store we have sales goals, so on a very busy day we would compete to see who could sell the most. The person that sells the most merchandise will receive a prize at the end of the work day or the next time they work – not to brag, but I always won.
