On Thursday, September 15th, we had a fun-filled day with, Ms. Cathy Harris, and her Carroll County Career and Tech. Center high school students, who came for a visit to see SU’s fashion design program!
These high school students got a full tour of our new and most spacious fashion design studios in the new Manning Academic Center. While they were here they were able to observe a Computer Aided Pattern making demonstration in the CAD class, spoke with our Work-Study and senior student, Venus, about her summer internship experience at Under Amour, and talked with Professor Simpson about the overall Stevenson University experience. They were even treated to free fabric from the Fashion Design program’s textile closet; taking with them arms full of donated fabric!
We greatly enjoyed meeting them and hope they had a fabulous visit!
