BizComm students prepare for ECA at the Hyatt

Students in the Advanced Event Planning class taught by Dr. Leeanne Bell McManus joined members of 47 House, the communications club, in a visit to the Baltimore Hyatt in preparation for the beginning of the Eastern Communication Association convention in March. Business Communication alum Cara Hill (class of 2007) checked in with the department after she heard news of the recent publication of the event planning textbook: "I just wanted to congratulate you on the publication of your textbook Event Planning: Communicating Theory and Practice.
