Business Communication professors Dr. Leeanne Bell McManus and Chip Rouse partnered with nursing professor Laurel Moody to bring Thanksgiving dinner to their residents in Western Run and Patapsco Halls. On Monday, Nov. 21, the residents were treated to a complete Thanksgiving meal, served up by the faculty and the resident advisors. From cornbread to turkey and gravy, to pumpkin pie, the first-year students enjoyed a sumptuous Thanksgiving!

Stevenson University Business Communication junior Christina Favata, the promotions director at SUTV and Wild Stang Radio, has implemented a new segment on Wild Stang Radio called "15 Minutes of Fame."

The innovative program will allow students and staff time on the radio to showcase their particular talents. The segment is open to the SU community and all can get a chance to share. Contact Christine through WSR for your chance to shine! She's shown here in the photo helping out during first-year move-in and orientation.

Congratulations to senior Business Communication and volleyball star Lauren Weaver, who was named the MVP of the recent Middle Atlantic Conference volleyball tournament for her exemplary play in the semifinals and the finals, totaling 15 kills on .282 hitting for the Mustangs, according to gomustangsports.com. In the photo, Lauren is shown with her head coach Dave Trumbo (left) and Ken Andrews, executive director of the MAC. The Mustangs took down Arcadia in four sets to move on to a berth in the NCAA Division III tournament for the seventh straight time.

Members of the Business Communication department enjoyed a brilliantly beautiful Homecoming day 2017 on Saturday, Oct. 21. Lots of alumni returned to reunite with each other, and a victory for the football team capped the day!

Business Communication alum and Admissions Officer staffer Jen Antonelli has reached day 34 of her 4K for Cancer run across America through the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.  Along with 30 other runners, Jen started her 49-day journey in San Francisco to raise awareness and funds for cancer in honor of those among her family and friends who have suffered or died from the disease. The Baltimore team's journey has been steady and thrilling.

On day 33, Jen and her team ran between Milwaukee and Chicago, and their run around Chicago's Lake Michigan was a high point before they could grab a day of rest.

"Time is flying by way too fast. 33rd day, 9th state, 7th rest day," wrote Jen. We are all so proud of your grit and commitment, Jen!
