Business Communication senior Katlyn Lamp (center, in photo) loves her internship at Sagamore Farm. Working under the mentorship of Jocelyn Brooks and Hunter Rankin, Katlyn combines her new media experience with the team at Maroon PR, who manage the racing farm’s social media.
From the website: “Founded in 1925, Sagamore Farm was developed into a world renowned racing and breeding operation by Alfred G. Vanderbilt, Jr. from 1933 – 1986. In 2007, Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank, a Maryland native, purchased the 530-acre farm, where today, it has 40 horses in training – 13 of which are currently racing.” Katlyn’s job in media, marketing and events has provided her with a wealth of experience.
