Class of 2017 Business Communication graduate Kris DeJesus (third from the right in the photo) has been a champion of (and at) dodgeball throughout his years at Stevenson, even initiating the university’s Dodgeball Club. His current semi-professional team recently finished in the top two at the regional qualifying round in Pennsylvania against over 15 teams, which meant that Kris’ team qualified for the national tournament in Chicago.
They will compete against 31 of the best teams from all over the United States, Canada, and Australia from August 3-6. If they make it into the top 8, they will compete on ESPN 3 for a $20,000 top prize. They were awarded $1,000 for travel to Chicago, and are very excited about this opportunity.
