Business Communication News

Date: Oct 12, 2017

Join the Business Communication faculty and friends for Homecoming 2017 on Saturday, October 21 from 10 a.m.-noon for an exciting and inviting Tailgate party. Held this year at a new location on Owings Mill North at the edge of the Dell Family Pathway, the Tailgate will have a little something for everyone. Meet your fellow alums for a morning of reconnections and catching up at the many tents set up on the south parking lot. Last year's Homecoming brought back Nick Farano, Lanie Swanhart, Susana Cintron, Nicolette Stoner and Tara Shishmanian, who posed for a great photo!

Congratulations to Business Communication graduate (class of 2017) Landon Easler, who has relocated to Maine to start his career as an assistant account executive with Shamrock Sports and Entertainment in Portland, Maine. Landon finished up the Career Introductory Program with the Baltimore Orioles at the end of the summer and then headed north to tend to clients including NASCAR, Rugged Maniac, FanBeat, Circuit of the America's, Championship Bull Riding, P1 Powerboat, and others. The Career Introductory Program gave him a chance to work with the Orioles' Board of Directors, PR team, community relations group, and the Orioles alumni department. In the photo, Landon is shown during his Orioles internship with Alumni Director Bill Stetka.
