Looks like graduate school is the choice of several BizComms for the fall. Amy Sharfman will be among the initial cohort at Stevenson University’s Master’s program in Communication Studies that will begin this fall. Meanwhile, Amy is working this summer for Conference & Logistics Consultants, Inc. in the event management business.
2015 alum Alex Parker will be attending Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., full time this fall for her master’s degree in Sports Industry Management. Alex’s internships with the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Wizards propelled her to the program at Georgetown.
Jess Barley, a May 2015 alum, has been accepted at Towson University for their Master’s program in Applied Gerontology. Jess interned at several Brightview Senior Living facilities and was attracted to the career field. She hopes to combine her interest in events with gerontology studies.
