First-year, transfer and honor society students from the Business Communication department joined other First-Year Seminar classes and clubs during “Mustangs Make a Difference Day” on Friday, Oct. 12, in the Garrison Quad. The Business Communication students and faculty members were raising money for cancer research through the sale of hugs and other goodies.

Service is a key component of The Stevenson Way, and the participating students enjoyed getting to meet others in their major while making a difference.

Pictured to the left in the first two photos are some of the students who participated in the event, and the bottom photo shows the organizing team who put together the yearly event, including two BizComms, Caroline Izzi and Lauren Novsak.
