It's always great hearing updates from our alumni!  Kellie Forsythe (Applied Math '13) and Grant Simard (Applied Math '12) live in Ashburn, Virginia. Grant is working as a contracting officer at Agile Defense.  Kellie is working at the Department of State in IT.  They travel to a lot of work-related conferences and meetings and are enjoying seeing new places in the US and worldwide.  Grant and Kellie are pictured here with their French bulldog, Thor.

Congratulations to Mike Byrd on his graduation this fall!  He had a great experience at Stevenson, both in the classroom and on the basketball court.  Mike has several job offers and is in the process of deciding which one to accept.  Congratulations and best wishes from everyone at SU!

Warmest congrats to Josh Allison, '15, on his recent engagement to Carli Castiglia, an SU alum.  Using his applied math degree, Josh is working as a Benefits Analyst at Geico in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

Congratulations to Dalis Carter on receiving the Mathematics and Physics Department’s Service Award at the School of the Sciences Awards Ceremony!  Dalis was recognized for her dedication to participating in department events, and always helping out with her beautiful smile!

Congratulations to Reid Foxwell ('16 BS Applied Math) on receiving his Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) at the 2017 Graduate and Professional School graduation!  Reid participated in our BS/MAT program which allowed him to begin taking graduate courses during his senior year as an undergraduate so that he could complete his MAT just one year after his BS.  Reid teaches math at Catonsville High School.  Congratulations, Reid!  We love watching the success of our alumni!
