Rebecca Gruver hails from York, PA but grew up as a Red Sox fan. While attending West York High School, Rebecca was a standout two sports athlete in both track and field hockey. She recalls first hearing about Stevenson from a teammate of hers who went on to play field hockey at SU. On her first visit to Stevenson, the first things to catch her attention were someone wearing a Red Sox Jersey and that Rockland was serving her favorite meal, wings and tater tots. Since that day she has had Stevenson as her top choice and set her goal on attending SU for the Fall of 2015. Rebecca said an interesting fact about her is that she and her fraternal twin, Kara, go to the annual Twinsday Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio every year. This festival is the largest gathering of twins in the world! Rebecca is excited to be an applied math major and plans to work as a sports statistician for the Boston Red Sox.
