Rebecca Pisano

Rebecca Pisano, Ph.D.
Associate Dean for International & Off-Campus Study

Rebecca manages all aspects of study abroad programming, including international and off-campus faculty-led courses and affiliate programs. She is also the campus representative for the Boren and Fulbright student awards. Rebecca has spent extended time in Spain, Poland, Mexico, Paraguay, and Ecuador, and has sailed through Southeast Asia. Her passion for global learning began with a semester abroad in Seville, Spain as an undergraduate. Rebecca holds a Ph.D. in Comparative/International Studies in Education from UCLA, and has been working in university international program administration since 2001.

Now in her second year working in the office, Abrianna is a junior Nursing major​. She enjoys traveling with friends and family and has visited several places internationally including Guyana, Venezuela, the Bahamas, and Canada.

Holly is a senior Early Childhood Education major who studied abroad twice – to Florence, Italy in Winterim 2017 and to Dublin, Ireland in Summer 2017.​ While abroad she took elective classes for her major. Both study abroad experiences have made for memorable experiences and have had a positive impact on Holly’s life. She believes that stepping out of one's comfort zone and discovering the secret beauties that the world has to offer makes studying abroad the perfect choice.

Jasmin is a senior in the Film and Moving Image program and studied abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica in summer 2017. She enjoys tasting international cuisine, exploring new places, and learning about other cultures. When she isn’t at home watching movies, Jasmin can be found assisting the Office of International & Off-Campus Study.
