The internet is a rich resource for exploring career and graduate school options. Below are a list of graduate school resources for psychology majors.
- American Psychological Association Student Information - This is APA's site for students. Includes a list of accredited programs, relevant articles, etc.
- Doctoral Programs Meeting Designation Criteria - This site contains all doctoral psychology programs which conform to standards set forth by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards. Graduates of these programs are able to sit for licensure as a psychologist. This list includes APA-accredited programs, as well as other programs not APA-accredited.
- Psychology Departments on the Web - This site includes an exhaustive list of Psychology Department websites.
- Peterson's Virtual Campus: Graduate Study in Clinical Psychology - This site has brief descriptions of schools and their programs offering Master's and Doctoral training in various areas, including clinical and counseling psychology.
- Clinical Psychology Graduate School Programs - A nice feature of this site is that you can search for schools by region of the country. You can also search for clinical or counseling psychology separately.
- Ranking of Psychology Ph.D. Programs - This site contains various types of rankings of doctoral psychology programs, such as by their graduates' scores on the licensing exam.
