Philosophy Minor

Philosophy may be described as the study of life's oldest, most basic questions.

A discipline of the mind, philosophy emphasizes analytical thinking in addition to deductive reasoning. However, philosophers are required to think creatively when faced with long-standing philosophical problems.

Stevenson University's Philosophy courses cover a variety of topics, including logic, ethics, major philosophers, and a variety of specific philosophical problems. Philosophy courses can benefit any Stevenson student, regardless of his or her major, because of the emphasis on communication, interpretation, and critical thinking.
