The Stevenson nursing program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) and by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Stevenson University offers transfer students the opportunity to earn a Bachelor's of Science with a major in Nursing in two years full-time (fall start only). This program is available to students who have completed all prerequisites and who have been accepted to the University as transfer students seeking either their first or second bachelor's degree. The prerequisite course work may be completed at any regionally-accredited institution including Stevenson University. Please note that students may be required to take evening courses and/or weekend clinicals.
The nursing program is a challenging course of study for students who are highly motivated, self-directed, and independent. Upon successful completion of all degree requirements, graduates earn a B.S. in Nursing and are eligible for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to become registered nurses. The program enables students to become competent nurses, who are valued professionals with specific goals for the future.
