Sketches of Spain
Saturday, December 6, 8 pm - Inscape Theatre
The Greenspring Valley Orchestra, Stevenson University's college/community ensemble, under the direction of Robert Suggs, performs a program of music with a Spanish flair.  Noted Baltimore classical guitarist Troy King will be featured in Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez, one of the best-loved of all Spanish orchestral pieces.  In addition to works by the noted Spanish composers deFalla, Albeniz and Granados are Spanish-inspired creations by Chabrier and Mozart, as well as selections from Bizet's popular opera Carmen. 
Admission is $10, $5 for students and seniors.
