The Applied Mathematics program at Stevenson University is designed to prepare students for employment or further study at the graduate level. The major offers an array of courses that build math skills while familiarizing students with computer technology. Graduates emerge with a solid background in calculus and statistics, and with the ability to use data to solve problems in various disciplines.

As an Applied Mathematics major at SU, you will customize your degree based on your goals and interests. In your chosen area of focus, you will take a minimum of five courses. Areas of focus include:Actuarial Science, Business and Economics, Education, Social Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, and Information Systems.
