Human Services Administration Track

The Human Services Administration Track is intended for students planning to pursue careers in human services administration, such as human resources, development, and management.  In addition to the required core curriculum for the Human Services Program, which includes HSR 340/540 (Administration of Human Services), students must complete the following courses:

MGT 210 – Business Writing
HSR 440 – Practicum in Human Services (9-12 credits) – Placement in an administrative position in a human services agency
LAW 380 – Mediation and Negotiation
MGT 310 – Organizational Behavior (Prerequisite: MGT 204 or HSR 340/540)
MGT 408 – Human Resource Management (Prerequisite:  MGT 204 or HSR 340/540)
MKT 206 – Principles of Marketing

The following courses are recommended but are not required:

MGT 316 – Principles of Negotiation and Sales
MGT 330 – Introduction to Public Administration
