All ceremonies are scheduled to be held in the gymnasium on the Greenspring campus. Plan about two hours for the commencement ceremony.

Students should report to Knot Hall, Room 101, about 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the ceremony.
Guests should arrive early for best choice of seating. The doors to the gym open one hour prior to the beginning of the ceremony. Floor and bleacher seating is available on a first come-first served basis.
- Graduating students participating in the December 2014 Commencement will each be given tickets for guests. The number of tickets available will be announced during the fall 2014 semester.
- All guests (including children) must have a ticket to enter the gym.
- Overflow seating will be available in the Inscape Theatre where the ceremony will be broadcast live on the big screen. Overflow seating is available on a first-come first-served basis.
- The ceremonies will be broadcast live online. Friends and family may watch the ceremony from anywhere they have internet access
Caps and Gowns
Academic garb is sold at the Campus Store on the Greenspring and Owings Mills campuses. Cap, tassel, gown, and hood are purchased for the graduate to keep. We no longer offer rentals. Announcements and other paper products will be shipped to the address provided by the student. Contact the Campus Store for details. After the November 1 deadline (deadline may change), a late fee will apply to all cap and gown orders placed through the Greenspring Campus Store.
Rings and Regalia
A representative from Herff Jones will be on campus to assist students with their regalia, announcements, ring, and other graduation purchases on the following dates:
Orders may be placed online through the Herff Jones site until November 1 (date may change). Absolutely no online orders will be accepted after this date.
GradImages® will be available prior to the ceremony should you want an individual photo. Additional photos will be taken after your diploma is presented to you and you will have the option to purchase a video. Information will be given to graduates by the photographer the day of commencement prior to the ceremony.

Greenspring Campus Gym
This is a final gathering of the graduating class before graduation. The event, planned by the Senior Class Council, commemorates the completion of one phase of the student's life and celebrates the opening of another. It is a ceremony of prayer, thanksgiving and blessing suitable for all religions. All graduates, along with their guests, are encouraged to attend.
