Accelerated Second Bachelor’s Degree

Stevenson University's innovative Accelerated Second Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies is designed for working adults who want to complete their degree quickly & expand their career horizons. Classes are offered in the evenings, weekends, and online.

Major Requirements

The Accelerated Second Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies is a 40 credit program.  Students are required to complete the core courses, a total of eight courses totaling 25 credits. In addition, students are required to complete 15 credits of law electives. The following classes are required for the core:

LAW 102:  Intro to Legal Studies
LAW 112:  Torts
LAW 120:  Fundamentals of Law I
LAW 125:  Legal Research & Writing I
LAW 204:  Constitutional Law
LAW 210:  Legal Research & Writing II
LAW 216:  Civil Litigation & Pleading
LAW 480:  Senior Seminar

What can you do with this degree?
Graduates of the SU Paralegal program are prepared to enter the working world as paralegals in law firms, state prosecutor's offices, and a variety of other legal settings. This program is also an excellent option for students who want to pursue law school.
