Bachelor of Science
The accelerated bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies gives students the flexibility to develop an integrated course of study by combining the coursework from two academic disciplines. Areas of study currently available for acceleration in the interdisciplinary format are Business Management, Information Systems, Legal Studies, Psychology, and (beginning in Fall 2008) Criminal Justice*.
Interdisciplinary Studies is an individually designed major that allows students to work closely and consult with at least two faculty members with interests and expertise in the desired areas of study. The program director and student jointly develop a course of study that require a depth of knowledge and an interdisciplinary approach to the focus of study the student selects.

The accelerated bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies may be completed in two years depending on the number of credits transferred into the program and the number of courses taken during the academic year. Stevenson University will accept up to 90 credits from a regionally accredited institution. Accelerated courses are scheduled to meet once a week on weekday evenings and Saturdays, in five or eight-week sessions. This program integrates 36 credits (18 from each of the two chosen areas of study) plus additional coursework to satisfy college/degree requirements.
*All Criminal Justice classes for the Fall 2008 semester will be 8 week, online classes.

Former Interdisciplinary Studies majors are currently working in social services, human resources, education, retail management, and business. Others enter graduate programs in professional writing, social work, education, public administration, and law to name a few.
