Valerie Demateo ‘17
“The nursing program is outstanding,” Valerie says. “The teachers are so passionate about the profession and I love how excited they still get about being a nurse. It makes me even more confident in my major and what I want to do in the future.”
Valerie plans to work in a hospital for about a year or two after graduation with a concentration on intensive care or trauma. Later, she hopes to go back to school to get her Master’s and become a traveling nurse/nurse practitioner. SU has many networking connections with outstanding hospitals in the area. I know I will get the best education out of Stevenson.”
