“I chose to attend SU because of its reputation for helping students start careers after graduation,” says Samuel. “The Stevenson staff puts a lot of effort in ensuring the academic success of the students.” Samuel has personally experienced the benefits of such career-minded focus at Stevenson. “I conducted independent research about the correlation between rainfall and the amount of pollution along the Jones Falls Expressway, and I interned at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital.” This real-world training, as well as his professors’ guidance, has prepared Samuel for medical school and a career as a physician.
