Biotechnology, B.S. to M.S. in Forensic Science

Kari chose Stevenson because of its unique B.S. to M.S. program where she could earn her Bachelor of Science in biotechnology and Master of Science in forensic science in just five years. "My favorite part about my major is that my biotechnology degree is focused towards forensic science, making my classes relevant to the career path I want to take." Kari interned at the firearms department of the Maryland State Police, pointing her to a career in forensic science. “SU has helped me reach my goal with career-focused classes, an excellent advisor, and a graduate program that will give me firsthand experience with the Baltimore County Forensic Crime Lab.”
