Emilee Thursby '17

Undergraduate Student
Middle School Education

“My favorite part about the middle school education program is definitely the experience that I receive through field placement,” Emilee says. “We have the opportunity to go into the classroom and observe as well as teach the students. My major has definitely solidified my passions and has made me so excited for the rest of my life as an educator.”

Along with her major, Emilee is the President of the Student Government Association, the co-chair for Relay For Life, and a member of the National Residence Hall Honorary. “I like that there is so much room for growth at Stevenson University. There is room to grow in academics and room to grow socially with the opportunities that are provided by athletics with sports and intermural, as well as Student Activities with clubs and organizations.”
