When asked about her major, Ally points out the opportunity for candidates to be in the classroom for all four years. “The early childhood education program at Stevenson is one of the best I have seen. SU places us in a classroom starting during our freshman year. Not only does this give us valuable experience but it also allows us to network with multiple schools in the area to help with future job hunting.” One of Ally’s life goals is to open a school in a developing nation to allow children the chance of free education. To aid in reaching her dream, Ally participates in education and volunteer-based extracurricular activities including Teachers of Tomorrow, Service Corp, and Mission: I’m Home.
