October 12, 2015 7 AM

Beginning Oct. 16, Stevenson University will present The National Poster Retrospecticus, a traveling show of more than 300 hand-printed event posters from more than 100 of the most prominent poster designers in the United States. The exhibition will be on display from Oct. 16 through Nov. 23 in Stevenson’s School of Design Gallery located on the Owings Mills North campus, 11200 Gundry Lane, Owings Mills, MD 21117.

The exhibition will open with a reception on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. followed by an art talk by New England illustrator and printmaker Daniel Danger at 7 p.m. Both the reception and art talk are free and the public is invited to attend.

The National Poster Retrospecticus aims to celebrate the made-by-hand aesthetic involved in poster-making and seeks to spread that enthusiasm around the world.
