For the third consecutive year, Stevenson University will co-sponsor the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Greater Baltimore’s Community Block Party, Sunday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held on the athletic fields of the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC, 3506 Gwynbrook Avenue, Owings Mills, MD 21117. Entry to the Block Party is free and the community is invited to attend.

The fields will be alive with dozens of family-friendly activities, musical performances on two different stages, a large-scale community service project, a food and craft marketplace, and multiple opportunities to learn about the local organizations serving the community.

More than 65 local organizations are already on board to participate. Activities include: large inflatables, balloon art, face painting, carnival games, and more. Music and entertainment will be provided throughout the day, with musical performances featuring Sheldon Low, Cris Jacobs, Mister Wilson Band, and The Crawdaddies.

“Stevenson is proud to once again partner with the JCC as they bring their annual Community Block Party to life on June 5,” said Sharon Markley, Stevenson University Vice President for Public Affairs and Strategy. “We’re looking forward to an awesome day filled with hands-on activities and visits from our University mascot ‘Wild Stang.’ This event is a prime opportunity for Stevenson to interact with so many members of our greater community, and that’s something we really value.”
