Attend Stevenson University Online’s Forensic Symposium to gain an understanding about the cyber security dangers surrounding the Internet of Things (IoT), the concept of connecting any device to the internet including and not limited to cellphones, appliances, wearable devices, and home thermostats.
In observation of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, you are invited to attend the Internet of Things on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, in Owings Mills, MD from 6 – 8 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Explore trends and topics on consumer privacy and security challenges involved with the IoT.
- Witness live demonstrations of consumer electronic IoT devices that will provide first-hand observation of these complications.
- Learn innovative, protective measures from our invited experts used to combat associated security risks arising from constant use of the IoT devices.
